Almost anything you need you ca find these days on the internet. Between Amazon, Google, Walmart.com, and e-Bay a person can have most anything delivered within a short amount of time. As a society, we have so many resources at our finger tips, and just one click items can be shipped to your front door. Countless volumes of information stand ready at our finger tips, which causes me to wonder how anyone could fail. But the truth is that all these advantages don't equate to success. You can't order success online.
Success isn't something to obtain or arrive at. It isn't a destination, it's a derivative of the journey. And what is even more frustrating is the the road of success is often paved with disappointments and setbacks that serve to extend the road not to block it. Failure often leads us closer to success. David put it this way in Psalm 37:23-24,
My senior English teacher, Mrs. Hewitt, made us keep a journal of wise sayings. Each class started with one of those sayings on the board. One of those statements that I can still remember today was, "People often miss opportunity because it comes to them in overalls and looks like work!" As a teacher, I often remind my students that the difference between an "A" student and an "F" student is not ability. It is usually effort. Opportunities are not hand outs. History's most successful individuals didn't just wake up to success. They realized that effort is everything and pressed onward through failures toward success.
My advice to you today is to enjoy the journey. There will be plenty of failures along the way, but God is always there to pick us up, brush us off and start us back on life's journey.

"The steps [path] of a good man are ordered [directed] by the Lord, and He delights in his way. Though he fall [fail], he shall not be utterly cast down; for the Lord upholds him with His hand."The key to success is learning how to get up after we have fallen down (or failed). The stories in God's Word encourage me because I can see ordinary individuals who let God use their failures to lead them to success. So, where can I find success? Sorry, but you can't order it online. You can't watch a Youtube video to get it. In fact, success is not a destination or an item. Success is a journey that is being guided by God and His Word.
